Adding new flair to an old favorite: Tooba’s Café now offering beer, wine and new tapas menu
Tooba’s Café in Melrose will host its grand re-opening this Friday, May 1 from 6:30 – 11:00 p.m. Tooba’s will offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres introducing its new tapas menu specialties and will also debut select choice wine and local craft beer. All are welcome to join in celebration.
Owner and long-time Melrose resident, Saied Chaharom, opened Tooba’s in 2013 with breakfast and lunch menus only, but Mr. Chaharom and fellow Melrose resident John Woychick have now teamed up for a new nighttime dining experience in downtown Melrose. Mr. Woychick, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in New York, already heralded for his brunch specialties at Tooba’s, looks forward to expanding his repertoire to the menu starting May 1. New offerings will feature nightly tapas and entrée specials based on Tooba’s signature Mediterranean cuisine. A selection of wine and beer will also be offered as part of Tooba’s new evening repertoire.
Tooba’s is located at 35 Essex Street in Melrose, across from Shaw’s.
Open Friday-Sunday and closed on Mondays.
Weekend Brunch: 10:00am.
