Our current representative to the MBTA Advisory Board has stepped down after many years of service, and we are currently looking for a new representative. This is an opportunity for a Melrose resident to have a voice in MBTA policy and advocate for public transit, which is critically important to our city. The position is unpaid and entails attending about six meetings a year, during the workday, in Quincy. If you are interested, please send an e-mail to my assistant, Brigid Alverson, at email@example.com, describing your background and why you would like to serve.
