Along with the usual vendors, 7ate9 Bakery will be at the market with cheesecake popsicles! Come check out the wonderful assortment of fruits and veggies, fish, meat, coffee, yummy baked treats and lots more!
Music this week: Steve Furbish, 4-6 p.m.
“Uncle” Steve Furbish plays a mixture of folk, folk rock, country and originals that are just right for a sunny Summer afternoon. Steve is the founder and leader of NH Lakes Region favorite “Uncle Steve Band” on a rare sojourn to his old home and solo performance. “Uncle” Steve will be performing many favorite songs from his newly released “Living In The Country” and established “Past Life” C.D.s. The music at the market is made possible in part from a grant from the Melrose Messina Fund for the Arts.

Artisan: Ginny Remedi Designs
Ginny’s spirited jewelry uses a wide range of styles and media – all her own original work. Adornments include earrings, pins, rings, pendants, barrettes, and bracelets. Also Pleasant Moments – Helen Ray makes soap, bath products and pot potpourri. All soaps are glycerin-based with additives such as oatmeal, herbs and essential oils.
Yoga in the Park, 5-6 p.m., from now until 9/24
Bring your yoga mat with you! Join Barre & Soul Yoga Studio of Melrose for an hour of FREE outdoor yoga every Thursday. All levels are welcome. Children are welcome to join if accompanied by adult. Stretch away the stress and leave feeling centered and rejuvenated. Barre and Soul is proud to present the recent graduates of their Yoga Teacher Training program! Please note, Outdoor Yoga will be canceled if the forecast is rain. Please bring a mat or large towel to practice on.
Cooking Demonstration: Holly Pierce is back at the market this week! Holly prepares a new recipe each week using the fresh ingredients she shops for at the market on that day.
Our market will continue participating in the Plant A Carrot Campaign, a program designed to help farmers markets raise funds as well as raise awareness of farmers and farmers markets all across the country. “Carrots” will be available for sale ($5 each, $12 for 3) all season at the market. To learn more and to get your very own Carrot, be sure to stop by the Market Manager tent!
