Stoneham ZBA to Discuss Weiss Farm, Bike Lane, on November 12

Here is an update our office received from Friends of Stoneham.

The public hearing by the Stoneham Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) on the 40B apartment project proposed for Weiss Farm at 170 Franklin Street will continue in the Hearing Room of the Town Hall on Thursday, November 12, at 7:30 PM. This meeting is expected to cover traffic and water related issues. See meeting agenda on the Town website at

NEWS ALERT: The developer of the Weiss Farm Project plans to eliminate approximately 100 feet of bike lane along the project side of Franklin Street. This is bad news for Stoneham and surrounding communities because the bike lane is the connection to the Tri-Community Bikeway/Greenway that proponents fought so hard to get approved at Town Meeting last January.

Show your concern and attend the ZBA meeting with the developer in the Town Hearing Room on Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 PM.
