Home for the Holidays Begins Friday

Home for the Holidays begins on Friday night. The program will begin at the City Hall lawn at 6:15 p.m. We are honored to be joined by Senator Elizabeth Warren and Congresswoman Katherine Clark who will join us for a moment of silence in remembrance of Melrose native Police Officer Garrett Swasey, who was killed in the line of duty in the attack on Colorado Springs this past week. This will be followed by the lighting of the tree and the traditional stroll down Main Street to the YMCA to await the arrival of Santa on the fire truck.

Please walk if you can, as parking will be limited. Main Street will be closed from West Emerson Street to West Foster Street starting at 5:15.

The full schedule, including trolley routes, can be found on the Chamber of Commerce website.
