Here are some upcoming events at Temple Beth Shalom.
A special Aufruf service will be conducted Sat., April 2 at 10 a.m. An Aufruf (pronounced “oof-roof “) which means “calling up” and refers to a synagogue celebration on the Shabbat preceding a wedding. The wedding couple (Ari Fertig and his fiancee, Elizabeth Schwartz) will be called to the Torah for an aliyah on the Shabbat morning prior to their wedding.
Adult Education Program
Our next Adult Education session will be on Sun., April 3, 7:30–8:30 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Art, Boston. It will focus on viewing the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Collection of Judaica –
Gift spans three centuries of Jewish Decorative Arts. Cost: $10/member, $15/non-members.

Expectant Parents join us at TBS for a free brunch to learn about the resources such as baby naming offered by TBS.
Program for Families with Young Children
Sun., April 10, 4–5:30pm Families with Young Children under 6 years old join us at TBS for a free Passover program to meet, sing songs and make a craft project. Free.
Erev Shabbat Service

Starting the evening of Fri., April 22, for 8 days is Passover – the Feast of Unleavened Bread – commemorates the story of the Exodus, in which the ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt and is celebrated for seven or eight days celebrated by a meal, called the seder.
