Here’s an e-mail that was sent out by Friends of Stoneham regarding upcoming hearings on the Weiss Farm project.
The Stoneham Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is scheduled to hold two meetings this week on the Commons at Weiss Farm apartment project, as follows:
At 7.30 PM, Wednesday, April 6 in the Hearing Room. The topic of discussion will be traffic. The public is welcome to comment. See meeting agenda on town website at http://www.stoneham-ma.gov/sites/stonehamma/files/u80/doc02531220160404130822.pdf. This could be the last meeting when the general public will be allowed to comment on the project.
At 7.30 PM, Thursday, April 7, in the Hearing Room. Topics of discussion will be traffic, financial pro forma, site engineering and water management. See meeting agenda on town website at http://www.stoneham-ma.gov/sites/stonehamma/files/u80/doc02531320160404130830.pdf.
The ZBA needs to cram these meetings into a short time period in order to meet upcoming deadlines. The public hearing will be closed to additional testimony on or before April 15, 2016. The ZBA must render a decision on the project on or before April 30, 2016.
