It’s the first day of vacation for students, but a construction crew is hard at work at the Hoover School—the window replacement project began today. This project will replace the windows that were installed when the school was built in 1965 with new, energy-efficient windows that will allow more natural light in the rooms. Some of the doors will also be replaced, and the front entry will be made more welcoming. This work is being done with matching funds from the Massachusetts School Building Authority.
Principal Jenny Corduck took this photo today of the work in progress. Stay tuned for updates!
