The Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR) has notified the City that they will be paving portions of the Lynn Fells Parkway in Melrose starting this week. The work includes roadway grinding and re-paving. Roadway grinding will start on Tuesday, August 16.
The project includes upgrades to the Lynn Fells Parkway from Vinton to Melrose Street; and from Green Street to the Saugus line. Work will start in the section between Vinton and Melrose Street on Tuesday, August 16th.
We have been assured by the DCR that the roadway will be paved and restriped before the first day of school.
