Remembering September 11, 2001

All flags at City of Melrose buildings are being flown at half staff today in remembrance of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Please join me for a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m., the time when the first plane struck the World Trade Center.

Please keep all the victims, and in particular Melrosian Raymond Rocha and his family, in your thoughts on this day.

  1. I’m sure we all remember where we were and what we were doing shortly before 9:00 AM that morning. Thank you Melrose for flying the flags and half staff in solemn remembrance. … With hopes and prayers that domestic terrorism ends.
