Please be advised that there are serious changes in temperature forecast for Saturday morning into the afternoon. Although temperatures will remain in the 50s overnight and into Saturday morning, forecasts call for them to dramatically and rapidly drop into the 20s by mid-afternoon on Saturday.
This could result in sudden black ice and glazing conditions on roads in the region. DPW will be monitoring the situation throughout the night and into the weekend and will have crews on the roads.
Please also remember heavy rains are predicted for Friday and Saturday, which will elevate the risk for localized street flooding. DPW will be out doing their best to clear catch basins, but we ask for your assistance in high-risk areas. Anything you can do to help clear catch basins in your street would be appreciated and could help our community.
