Polymnia Presents ‘Annelies’ on March 12

The Polymnia Choral Society presents Annelies, a premier large-scale choral work by British composer James Whitbourn based on the text of The Diary of Anne Frank. Polymnia’s Artistic Director Murray Kidd says, This work is poignant, lyrical, and lush, an inspirational tribute to the triumph of the human spirit. The not-to-be-missed concert will be performed on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 7:30 PM at St. Mary’s Church, 46 Myrtle Street, Melrose, MA.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for students and seniors, $5 for children under 12 and are available at Miter Biter Frame Company, 479 Main Street, Melrose or at www.polymnia.org. Madeleine Carbonneau, recent winner of Polymnia’s Spotlight on High School Talent, will also perform, as will award-winning violin looper Joe Kye.
